The house offers a beautiful view of the Thames, creating a picturesque backdrop for your stay. The cozy atmosphere adds to the home-like feel, despite a few shortcomings.

Arriving to find the wrong Wi-Fi code and no towels provided until asked was off-putting. The shower is the tiniest I’ve encountered—just about enough space to rinse off without knocking your elbows. The heating situation was dire in the cold of January, with a thermostat barely above freezing and only a weak electric heater for backup. It was frustrating to deal with cold showers for two nights due to inadequate communication about how to operate the heating system.

The property is in a great location next to Thamesmead, making it easy to explore nearby attractions like Lesnes Abbey Woods and Abbey Wood. Our stay was nice, but the heating system left something to be desired as we often returned to a cold room. Still, the property was clean and situated in a calm neighborhood, which we appreciated after a long day. A couple of minor issues like broken toilet fixtures did pop up, but overall, it was a decent place for our stay.

home away from home. Our host was incredibly welcoming, which made our stay memorable. The shared spaces, including the bathroom, were consistently clean. Although the shower was a tad cramped, the overall experience was quite pleasant.

The Double Room was cozy and definitely made me feel at home. The bed was super comfy, and I appreciated the heater when it got a bit chilly. The hosts were really warm and made sure I had everything I needed, including the Wi-Fi info right away. No complaints here!

the hosts were super friendly and made me feel right at home. the double room was cozy and comfy, especially loved the heater when it got chilly. the place was really clean, especially the shared bathroom. great homey vibe and a nice garden to relax in. wifi worked great!

however, the shower was kinda cramped and i could hear the floorboards creaking at night.

It was just a fitting option for a brief pit stop in Thamesmead with good value. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly during my stay, which was a nice surprise. Just be aware of the shower size. it's quite tight for anyone with a little more heft.
